Discover Icy Strait Point

Icy Strait Point is Alaska's only privately owned cruise port - built around a restored 1912 salmon cannery and owned by the Huna Totem Corporation, with many local Tlingit shareholders from Hoonah, Alaska's largest Native village. It's also one of the most reliable spots in Southeast Alaska to see humpback whales, and home to the World's Largest ZipRider.

Where to Eat

All three of Icy Strait Point's restaurants sit right on the property, overlooking the water.

The Cookhouse

Halibut fish-and-chips and salmon BLT sliders on a walkway overlooking the bay.

The Crab Station

Fresh-caught king, snow, and Dungeness crab, served right on the pier.

Duck Point Smokehouse

Icy Strait Point's signature restaurant - house-smoked salmon, brick-oven pizzas, and seafood stew overlooking the beach.
